Coordinator
Reports to: Chief of Staff
Employee Status: Non-Exempt
Position Overview:
Annapolis
Orthodontics is a doctor-owned, single-location practice serving the wonderful

We’re
seeking a professional, organized, and team-oriented Financial and Operations
Coordinator to be the heart of our financial and operational workflows. If you

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee
and manage all patient payment processes, including ACH transactions
- Verify
and manage insurance benefits and claims
- Manage
billing, insurance claims, and patient accounts with accuracy and
efficiency
- Help
patients fully understand their financial options and feel confident about
their treatment plans
- Serve as
the go-to resource for billing and insurance questions—explaining details
clearly and kindly
- Maintain
organized, up-to-date financial and insurance records in our practice
management system
- Oversee
facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, inventory management,
and vendor coordination, to ensure a clean, safe, and functional
environment
- Act as
the primary contact to address hardware/software issues and coordinate
timely resolutions
- Support
the team with additional responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth
operations
Qualifications & Skills
Required:

- Strong

and accuracy

sensitive information
- Understanding
of accounts receivable, insurance billing, and patient financial
arrangements
- Strong
technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Complies with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable federal, state and local regulations
Preferred:
- Bachelor's
degree
- Experience
with dental or orthodontic financial/insurance coordination
- Proficient
with orthodontic practice management software
